Thanks for stopping by pasties & petticoats, do come in, grab yourself a cuppa and get immersed in our place of prettiness.
I’m Donna, I’m a photographer, a pretty-picture-lover, and wedding-a-holic. I spend more time than I should admit scouring wedding blogs, admiring the gorgeous styling and eye for detail shown off in stunning photos by amazing wedding photographers. When I was planning my own wedding in 2006/7 I would have loved this type of inspiration but with a Cornwall focus, and after thinking, pontificating and procrastinating for a long time, I figured I may as well have a bash at providing just that kind of blog for like-minded people planning their wedding in Cornwall.
I hope that this site will give inspiration and ideas to couples planning their Cornwall wedding. And of course, I hope it’ll show off the fabulous work of wedding photographers, and promote the very many awesome wedding suppliers that Cornwall is blessed with.

Donna.
I’ll leave you with a short vid by Memories on Film ~ it’s from a vintage photo shoot competition I did last summer with several of Cornwall’s fab wedding suppliers…

Hi Donna at Pasties and Petticoats!!!
Just a note to say fab work on the blog I am loving it and using it as a bit of a Bible at the moment!! While doing some wedding research recently I noticed that it wasn't particularly easy to find innovative, easy to make, cheap ideas for table planners...My fav ideas at the mo are....pieces of card with the seating plan on, pegged (with cute pegs) onto some ribbon in a frame....and a large vase filled with long twigs surrounded by fairy lights to hang the seating plan onto. Also love the idea of table plans invidually framed in different photo frames for a shabby chic vintage feel wedding... Maybe this avenue could be explored for some more funky ideas!! Sarah xxx
Hi Sarah, great to hear that you're enjoying the blog :) Brilliant idea to do a feature on table plans... I'll get right on it :)
The blogs and links are fab and full of fabulous and inspiring ideas......I only wish I had a Worcestershire version of Parties and Petticoats!
